This privacy policy sets out how Fairholme Films Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Fairholme Films) uses and protects information that you provide when using this website and information provided before, during and after the provision of any filmmaking or videography services. Fairholme Films is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Any identifiable information provided as part of the transaction or communication with Fairholme Films will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy

Who is Fairholme Films

Fairholme Films is the trading name of Fairholme Films Ltd. is a videography & filmmaking company directed and operated by Andrew Spicer. The registered address is 41 Fairholme Road, London and the website can be visited at FairholmeFilms.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Fairholme Films will collect data before, during and after you book and use any professional services as offered by Fairholme Films. This includes things like:

  • Names, addresses and contact Information of the person(s) placing a booking.

  • Names, addresses and contact Information of the person(s) using our services.

  • Details and notes taken relevant to the service provided to help Fairholme Films perform the work required.

If you e-mail or send messages via social media, these messages are stored within the Fairholme Films email system or social media accounts. These messages are stored for as long as practicable to allow Fairholme Films to provide you with better future services.

This privacy policy does not cover the collection and use of any materials created by Fairholme Films during the provision of services. This includes but not limited to screenplays, pre-production documents, photographs, raw video footage, video masters music and post-production documents. How it is collected

The majority of the data is collected directly from you. For example if you fill out a form online, or communicate face to face, via the telephone, via e-mail or message. Most of the data collected is solely for the purpose of providing you with the service you have requested, or had requested for you. Any other uses for your data are intended to help provide you with a better customer service experience. Fairholme Films is also required by law to collect and store certain information relating to any order or service you request.

Sharing of your data:

Fairholme Films undertakes to take your privacy very seriously. Fairholme Films will not sell your data to third party organisations. There are a few instances where some of your data may be shared with third parties to allow Fairholme Films to provide services to you. This is generally limited to:

  • Freelancers or any temporary employee that is directly involved with the provision of the work requested. This includes but is not limited to writers, videographers, sound recordists, editors, colourists, composers. Any identifiable information shared will be strictly limited and only information relevant to the smooth undertaking of the work required.

  • Law Enforcement and Legal Requirements – Fairholme Films will provide data to law enforcement agencies if issued with a court order to do so.

How long Fairholme Films retains your data

Unless otherwise stated, all data we collect is retained indefinitely. This is to allow Fairholme Films to provide a better service to you as a customer in the event that you contact Fairholme Films again in the future. We are also legally obliged to store some data for a minimum amount of time, for example sale order records, payment records etc.

What rights you have over your data

You may request a copy of any data stored about you and Fairholme Films undertakes to comply with any requests as per the guidance of the Information Commissioner’s Office and . You can also request that Fairholme Films erase any personal data held about you. This does not include any data Fairholme Films is obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. This helps Fairholme Films analyse data about web page traffic and improve the website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system. Information analytics is provided by Squarespace, whose privacy policy is GDPR compliant and freely available on squarepsace.com.
